INTRODUCTION
Germany is in the heart of Europe. It is the seventh
largest country of Europe according to area. It
is the largest economical and second most population
country of Europe.
It is situated in the central part of Europe,
bordering the Baltic Sea and the North Sea, between
the Netherlands and Poland, south of Denmark.
The Danube, Rhein and Elbe are the largest rivers
of Germany. The rivers Oder and Neisse flow towards
the Baltic Sea and are also the border towards
Poland.
Germany is famous for its charming, beautiful

HISTORY
In 1871, Germany was united as a modern nation-state,
when the German Empire, dominated by the kingdom
of Prussia, was forged. The old name of Germany
is "German".
It is believed that Germanic tribes have came
from Scandinavia.
